Take 1 of Traumatised
This is our first take at filming for our short film Traumastised:
We spoke to our teacher and he gave us some feedback on what would be good for when he go out and try to film it again.
Some of the ideas that he gave us was to make sure that the camera is in focus as in the film it goes in and out of focus in different parts.
Another piece of feedback he gave us was to have less dialogue in it because as its meant to be an opening of a film you arent meant to have a lot of talking, its meant to be simple.
Also, when we go out to film again we need to make sure we use loads of different types of shots, for example close up, wide and long shots.
One of the things that I think would make the opening of the film better is to add some clips of the actress being emotional and upset about the situation she is in. I think that too many things happen in such short time which isnt good because were letting out all the information in the first two minutes. What's meant to happen in the first two minutes isnt meant to give it away whats happening in the film, so you only give certain hints for example flashbacks.
